Crystal is a United States Navy Veteran.  She was a Cryptologic Technician serving in Guam, Maryland, Virginia and onboard the USS George Washington (CVN 73). Post service, Crystal spent almost a year in Iraq as Facility Security Officer, responsible for the management of Temporary Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (TSCIF) throughout the country, as well as Personnel Security. Upon her return, she worked as Facility Security Officer ensuring personnel security for linguists deploying to the Middle East and 6 years working for the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she developed and rated veteran disability cases with specialization in Character of Discharge and Military Sexual Trauma cases. With her understanding of the law, she wanted to make a larger impact for her fellow veterans and joined the private sector. Crystal is an accredited agent with the US Department of Veterans Affairs.

She comes from a military family, her father and grandfather served in the United States Army. Her family and helping others are the most important things to her. Her personal understanding of the challenges Veterans face drives her to provide the best service in helping our Veterans

Monique’s family has an extensive military background, with her grandfather, father, uncles, and husband all having served and her son-in-law is currently Active Duty Navy. As a military spouse, she served as the Family Readiness Group Coordinator for Naval Special Warfare Unit One on Guam and Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School in Mississippi. She has over 10 years of experience working as an optician and she is a licensed esthetician. Monique is familiar with the challenges our service members, Veterans, and their family members face. She has spent years advocating for her family members and military family/friends to get the benefits they deserve and is ready to help support you.

Shelbie graduated with honors from NMSU with her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree in 2021. While in nursing school, she worked with numerous veterans and workman compensation patients as a home health aide. Upon graduating nursing school, she began working in the emergency department. After two years of gaining acute/critical care experience, she transitioned to surgical services, gaining experience in both the operating and recovery room.


Shelbie is a mother of two and a military spouse. In her free time she loves to mountain bike, cook, shop, and spend time with her family. She is no stranger to the hardships that military life can bring and she looks forward to offering her medical knowledge to strengthen your VA claim!

Desiree is a Registered Nurse and proud Oregon native with over 20 years of diverse healthcare experience. Her journey began in 2003 as a caregiver, and through perseverance and dedication, she advanced to become a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in long-term care, corrections, and acute hospital medicine. In 2020, she joined the Department of Veterans Affairs to serve on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting emergency and medical-surgical units specializing in neurology, vascular, and urological care. While working within the VA, she saw firsthand that many Veterans were not receiving the care and recognition they deserved—so she made it her mission to advocate for them with the same grit and determination they’ve shown in service to our nation. As a Legal Nurse Consultant, she combines her deep clinical expertise with a passion for Veteran advocacy. Her background includes assessments for PTSD, TBI, toxic exposures, military sexual trauma, and post-deployment health, along with awards such as the DAISY Award for exceptional patient care and recognition from Phi Theta Kappa for academic excellence. She proudly stands for the brave men and women who fought for our freedoms and dedicates her work to ensuring their medical stories are heard, validated, and supported with integrity and evidence.
